About

What is InterChallenge?

As the world has entered the era of information technology, the use of Internet and I.T is getting more and more popular. It has also become a very important tool for people to communicate, acquire knowledge, tackle problems or even market their business. Internet and I.T penetrate our everyday life and they tend to be increasingly indispensable for us. In view of these, there is a need to equip and educate the future leaders with the power of I.T.

InterChallenge is an international competition based on internet and information technology which is organized by ISOC-HK (Internet Society Hong Kong) and AIESEC. This competition will expose participants to the Internet-related challenges of some corporate bodies, Non-governmental organizations or different entities in reality. It aims to challenge them on the adoption of Internet and information technology in problem-solving. As the competition is not only open to all full-time tertiary students in Hong Kong, but also around the world, this allows ideas, experience and cultural exchange among individuals and organizations from private and public sectors as well as across borders. Our ultimate goal is to promote Internet and information technology as positive tools and environment enabling organizations, professions, and individuals worldwide to more effectively collaborate, cooperate, and innovate in their respective fields and interests which make contribution to the community work for the betterment of society.
