Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need some computer knowledge to excel in InterChallenge?

We promise that no computer-related hard-skill would be preferred in this competition. All you need is your heart and determination to shed warmth and light on the underprivileged children in Asia.

2. Is the workload heavy for each team?

Under the timeline for InterChallenge 2009, each team will have more than enough time to submit their proposal in the first stage as you are only required to submit the proposal by 8th Jan 2010.  Also, you will still have time to modify your proposal after the one-day training camp held on 21st Dec 2009.

Compared to other competitions, InterChallenge is designed to gather more ideas from students. Therefore, once you have the idea, it is easy to finish the proposal. Unlike projects of business courses, you don’t need to write long story for the proposal.

3. How I can make the impact by joining InterChallenge 2009?

Your idea will be implemented to help children in Asia to receive XO laptops for their learning once it is selected. And even if your idea is not selected, deployment opportunities will be provided to let you be the volunteers of OLPC to give out XO laptops to children in China by yourself.
